The hotel is not responsible for the security safety of any valuables left in the guest rooms or public places as governed by the Civil Code of the Philippines. However, if such a fortuitous event occurs, you can approach any of our employees regarding this matter and we will do our best to help.

All items found/given to our team will be handed over to the security personnel by the end of every shift.

• Standard check-in time is at 3 PM; early check-in is subject to availability. Full one-night rate will be charged for check-in from 1 AM to 6 AM and half day rate charge for check-in from 7 AM to 10 AM.
• Standard checkout time is 12 NN; late checkout is subject to availability. Late checkouts after 4 PM are with 50% charge from the daily rate. Full rate shall be charged to guests who will checkout 6pm onwards.
• A deposit for incidentals (P1,000 in cash) will be required upon check-in. An Extra Person fee is applied for additional guests staying in the room after the first two (2) occupants. Children that are six (6) years old and below may stay for free.
• Rates are quoted in Philippine Peso per room per night on single or double occupancy and are inclusive of 10% service charge and applicable government taxes.
• A valid identification card must be submitted at check-in.

The participant hereby expressly waives any claim of liability – for personal/bodily injury or damages – which occurs to the participant or for any loss of or injury to person or property. This waiver is intended to be a complete release of any responsibility for personal injuries and/or property loss sustained by any participant while on Hijo Resorts Davao’s premises or at off-site.

To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our resort guests, the company enforces a Good Night’s Rest Policy. If a disturbance is created, as a result of a party or noise from a guest room, all guests in the room will be asked to leave the hotel, without a refund.

This will include the Casitas, Tea Houses, Pavilion, Public Areas, Restaurants, Animals and Plants inside the property, Equipment and Tools used for our Tours, Vehicles and other unnamed variables located inside the resort.
In case of damages, guest/s will have to settle the amount as per quotation that will be provided by our Accounting team.

All guest rooms and public areas (rest rooms, tea houses, pavilion) are non-smoking.
There will be designated trash cans provided for the disposal of cigarette butts.

Guests who do not arrive within twenty-four (24) hours of check-in date will be charged the total amount of the reservation.

Lean Season: Hijo Resorts Davao has a 7-day cancellation policy. Any changes on packages or rates to your reservation must be done 7 days prior to your arrival date. Reservations that are not canceled within 7 days are subject to 100% charge of the reservation.

Peak Season: Hijo Resorts Davao has a 14-day cancellation policy. Any changes on packages or rates to your reservation must be done 14 days prior to your arrival date. Reservations that are not canceled within 14 days are subject to 100% charge of the reservation.

During periods of exceptionally high demand, we should implement a non-refundable / non-cancelable booking policy.

Amendments on check-in and check-out date may be made without a fee up to two (2) days before arrival date and are subject to availability.

Stay may be extended upon availability and is subject to rate variance.

Hijo Resorts Davao will only extend services for the guaranteed number of persons confirmed by the client. In the event that the total number of actual guest exceeds the guaranteed head count, rate per head will be charged to the client.

Hijo Resort will not be held responsible if the event does not push through or does not go on as planned by reason of any fortuitous event or force majeure.

In the event that any damage to the property of Banana Beach is incurred through the fault of the client and or guest, the client shall be responsible for the payment of the repair or replacement of the damaged property.
